It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Caufield (Fernie, British Columbia), who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Rose; his son Joseph; and his siblings, Jack (Jean), Maureen (Joe) and Barney (Helen).
He is survived by : his parents, Edward Caufield and Elizabeth Caufield; his wife Jannice; his children, Grace (Thomas), Adelaine (John), David and Teresa (Patty); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Connor, Luke (Carley), Leah-Rose, Jocelyn (Ken) and Brenna (Phillip); and his great grandchildren, Jonni, Jude, Owen and Meera. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions there will be a private service held at Fernie Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday September 12 which will be streamed via Zoom.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society – Fernie Branch are greatly appreciated.
