It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Barr of Fort Steele, British Columbia, born in Cranbrook, British Columbia, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Barr and Isabella Barr (Cameron); his wife Carroll Eidth Barr (Howlette); his daughter Lorna Dawn Barr; his sister Isabella Tuck; his grandfathers, Harry Barr and David Cameron; his sons, Larry (Hozumi) and Ron (Maryann Miller); and his stepchildren, Dan Boyd, Cara Lazar (Royce), Joel Nielson (Candice), Caleb Nielson (Jodi) and Matt Nielso (Kim). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren.
