Jon Gilbert Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon Gilbert (Gibsons, British Columbia), who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Jon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jenna and Emily; his wife Jane; his close friend Vic; and his siblings, Joan, Ardith and Bob. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in the United States, family members here on the Sunshine Coast, cousins.
