He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel (Durham); his parents, Jack McDonald and Belle McDonald; and his siblings, Tom, Doug, Bob McDonald and Ruth McLeod.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron McDonald (Tracey), Heather Serafini (Blake), Sandra Kniert (Ken) and Cameron McDonald (Kim); and his grandchildren, Kyle (Jamie), Colter (Jan), Adam (Diana), Jared, Shane (Cate), Skye (Darren), Kurt (Autumn) and Laura (Pierce). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
