James Ashworth Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ashworth in Invermere, British Columbia, born in Cranbrook, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 525 13th St, Invermere, BC V0A1K4. During the pandemic, at the age of 101, he walked 101 blocks to raise money for the local food bank and to also raise the spirits of the local residents.
