She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Watters and Cora Watters; her husband Jack (Hal); her siblings, Herbert Watters and Helen Rodgers; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Rodgers, Dorothy Watters (Tin), Edward Hill and Joan Bray.
She is survived by: her former husband Harold Smith (Hal); her brothers, A. B. Watters (Tin), Donald Watters (Doreen), Ben Watters (Shirley) and Edward Watters (Sandra); her sister-in-law Elizabeth Kovacs; her children, Brenda Hill (Juha Kattilakoski), Byron Hill (Pat), Robert Hill (Sandy Vollo) and Barrie Hill (Cheryl); her stepchildren, Barb Linney (Lyle) and Brad Smith (Sharon); her grandchildren, Shelbie Rule, Marti Miller, Sara Spears, Graham Hill (Rachelle), Burton Hill (Heather), Michael Heninger (Jennifer), Tawnie Hill Fritz (Colin), Julie Meiklem (Brian), Brandon Hill, Daniel Hill (Alicia) and Kerry Walker (Kyle); her stepgrandchildren, Krista Mungetto (Corey), Craig Smith (Morgen), Lynda Shearer (Chris Gieno) and Lesley DeRose; and also, Anita Clarke and Betty Bargar. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, there are no plans for a Celebration of Life at this time but the family will review the situation as soon as restrictions are lifted.
