He was predeceased by: his father Harry; his son Mitchell Ray; his sister Marlene; his daughter-in-law Kristine; his son Michael Anthony; and his mother Dora.

He is survived by: his wife Verna Rae Wood; his daughter Cheryl Zawaduk (Jim Manson); his grandchildren, Zakary Zawaduk, Michaela Manson and Alysha Zawaduk; his brothers, Carl, William and David; and also, Vasia and Leysa.
