He was predeceased by: his grandmother Iris Vye. He is survived by: his parents, Angela Bigg (Rod Heibein) and Dean Vye (Edith Vye); his sister Elisha Barker; his sibling's children, Faith Barker and Kaiden Bratch; his significant other Lennie McIntyre; his grandmother Joan Bigg (Vern Engemoen); and his aunts and uncles, Drew Vye, Wayne Vye (Ella Vye), Bill Bigg (Denise Bigg), Allen Bigg, Serena Vye (Tom Johnson), Joanne Barnett and Elizabeth Bigg.

Sadly, Casey lost his battle with addiction on October 2, 2020, but before he left this earth, he saved four lives through organ donation.
