He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie and Amos; his siblings, Harold, Helen, Lloyd and Annie Frances (Franny); and his wife Sonja.

He is survived by: his daughter Tanya (Mark); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Amanda) and Brittanie (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Jace, Isaiah and Elijah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
