He was predeceased by: his son Michael Brown of Amherst; his grandson Ryan Marshall; his parents, Ross Brown and Dena Brown; and his siblings, Laurel Merrit (John), Renee Woods, Marnie of Vancouver, Leagh Brown (Marilyn) and John.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his sisters, Carell Sinclair (Norm) of Surrey, BC, Jhande Janzten (Curt) of Delta, BC and Koral Bromwell (Al). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
