He is survived by: his children, Jim of Vancouver, Dianne Smyth (Val) of Edmonton and Pat Murtha (Mike) of Victoria; his sister Audrey Beer of Pincher Creek; and his close friend Terry. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a large extended family.
