He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra; his children, Sherry (Rob), Wade (Kelsey) and Nicole (Nick); his grandchildren, Kieanna, Aleeza, Kane, Talitha, Hudson and Charlotte; and his great grandchild Rosalee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital foundations PH Clinic in honour of his granddaughter Talitha.
