He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Alma; and his brothers, Bobby, Brian and George.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Brierley); his daughters, Ylan (Ryan) and Laurren (Michael); and his grandchildren, William and Anna.
He grew plots of vegetables to donate to the Kamloops Food Bank and enjoyed travelling, hiking, history, cross country skiing, white water canoeing, baseball, and reading.
