With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dwight John Oatway (Kamloops, British Columbia), whose life came to an end on May 14, 2026 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oatway and Dora Oatway; and his siblings, Derek Oatway and Karen Oatway. He is survived by: his wife Islay; his sons, Michael (Melissa) of Kamloops and Chad (Jenn) of New Westminster; his grandchildren, Noah, Solomon, Josiah, Katelyn and Owen; his siblings, Leslie Gautschi (Shelley) and Ricky Oatway; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Oatway and Susan Oatway.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul's Cathedral (360 Nicola St, Kamloops, BC V2C2P5).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dwight's memory can be made to The Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, or St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral.
