He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Hansen Brunsgaard and Alice; his siblings, June, Alice and Hans (Sharon Fitger); his brothers-in-law, Joseph Laviolette, Jean Pierre Champagne, Thomas Macklin, Carl McBride, Stanley Richards, Larry Lamarche and Ray Rogers; and his former wife Sharon Fitger.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Samuelson; his stepdaughter Pam (Rocky); his children, Brad (Xóchitl) and Cheryl (Gerry); his sisters, Elsie and Kathy; his sister-in-law Janet (Bruce); his stepdaughter Deanne (Dave); and his grandchildren, Katelyn, Joseph, Christian and Brianna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
