She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil; and her son Christopher Mark. She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Ann) of St. Catharines, Evelyn (Georges) of Yellowknife, Deirdre (Brad) of Kamloops and Liam of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Marc (Megan) of St. Catharines, Melissa (Vu) of Kelowna, Matthew (Annette) of Parry Sound, Lagina of Kamloops and Robert (Mikaela) of New Zealand; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Riley, Cayleigh, Alexander, Caira, Ireland, Charlotte, Emmett and Harrison.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Bursary that has been established at Thompson Rivers University Law Faculty in the name of Frances Lenore Ferguson Lyons.
