He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shumborski and Anna Shumborski; and his siblings, Steve, Andrew, Peter, Walter, Marion and Helen.

He is survived by: his wife Remy; his sister Ruby; and his niece Marilyn. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and great-grandnieces.
