Fred Sawada Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fred Sawada (Kamloops, British Columbia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Fred left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Sheldon; his parents, Kiyeji and Shige; and his brothers, Kazutoshi Ogawa (Japan), Dick Sawada and George Sawada.
He is survived by: his wife Hellen; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Scott Carson; his grandsons, Kaz and Kobe Carson; and his brother Jack (Louise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kamloops Curling Club (700 Victoria St, Kamloops, BC V2C2B6).
