We are sad to announce that, on December 24, 2025, at the age of 86, Giovannina Mercuri in Kamloops, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pietro Caputo and Teresa Caputo; her in-laws, Amedeo and Giovanna Mercuri; her siblings, Francesco, Paolino Caputo and Maria Pagnotta; her siblings-in-law, Francesco, Settimio, Alberto, Vincenzo Mercuri, Vittorio Pagnotta, Antonio Vecchio, Maria Aiello and Elisa Mercuri; her nephew Guido Vecchio; her niece Antonia Guercio; her great-nephews, Benito Pucci-Daniele and Kevin Vecchio; and her great-niece Emy Pucci-Daniele.
She is survived by: her husband Vittorio; her children, Amedeo (Angela), Mirella (Mario), Rita (Warren), Giovanni (Tricia) and Pietro (Antonietta); her grandchildren, Vittorio, Julia (Kaden), Emma (Luke), Dina (Corey), Jennifer (Jeff), Elysha (Ryland), Jessica (Nick), Jarod (Maddie), Brandon (Anna), Kaycee, Giovanna and Nito; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Bridget, Deacon, Lennie, Harvey, Quinn, Griffey and Remi; her siblings, Rosina, Emilia (Domenico), Ada, Ottavio (Angela) and Nella (Carmine); and her sisters-in-law, Carmela and Maria Teresa. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Giovannina Mercuri may be made to Royal Inland Hospital Foundation.
