He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his brother Ron; and his parents, George and Gertrude. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Gill (John), John Atkinson (Bonnie), George Atkinson (Teresa) and Louise Danskin (Dave); and his grandchildren, Suzanne, Samantha, Michael, Sandra, Lesley, Laura, Amanda, Georgia, Deanna and Jenny.
