He was predeceased by: his parents, Kikue Tahara and Toyotoshi Tahara; and his brothers, Toshiyuki Tahara and Katsuaki Tahara (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Marie (Nee Tremblay); his daughter Nadia (Clint) of Kamloops; his grandchildren, Skyler and Victoria (Christian) of Kamloops; and his siblings, Toyoko of Kamloops and Masanori (Rosemarie) of Kamloops. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
