He is survived by: his wife Harriett; his brother Jean-Pierre (Marie-Jo); his children, Rene Chave (Nancy) of Victoria, Sylvie Williams (John) of Trail, Jean Marc Philips of Vancouver and Darcie Prokop of Chilliwack; his stepchildren, Robert Janel (Kuniko) of Burnaby and Kathleen Janel Armijo (Michael) of Seattle; and his nephew Chris Chave (Lisa). He is also survived by six granddaughters, one grandson, three great granddaughters, many loving nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in-law, extended family, and dear friends.
