She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hodson and Laura Hodson; her husband Jim Obana; and her siblings, Flo (George), Ted (Glenora), Bill (Ardyth) and Laura (Ken).
She is survived by: the mothers of children, Sally (Terry) and Jennifer (Brian); her grandchildren, Andrew and Kate (Sheldon); her great grandchild Owen; and her sister Peggy (Don). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
