He is survived by: his wife Gurdev Kaur Basran; his children, Dayl Dhaliwal (Ken), Ray Basran (Jaz) and Devi Basran (Karim); his grandchildren, Danielle, Kiesha, Jennifer, Jamie, Jaylene (Jiven) and Kaylen; and his caregivers, Practitioners Tonya, Chantelle, Diane, Laura, Jennifer, Beckie and Stephanie.
