He was predeceased by: his mother Versal; his cousin Billy; his brother-in-law Brian; and his parents-in-law, Violet and Nickolas Proach.

He is survived by: his wife Carolynne; his son John Gordon (Judie); his grandsons, Riley (Shea) and Ben (Karli); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia and Nash; his siblings-in-law, Nickolas (Connie) and Cindy Lee (Barry); his sibling's children, Andrew, Amy and Deanna; and his great-niece Sophie.
