He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Eva; his siblings, Frank, Pat and Irene Wilson; his daughter Marilynne; and also, Jeanne and Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Lynn), Matt (Alison Slater), Nevada (Jack Mendes), Christina, Jennifer, Julieanne, James, Brandyn, Taylor and Kianna; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Mendes and Alexander Mendes; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Ryker and Jackson.
Donations in John's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice or to Diabetes Canada.
