She is survived by: her husband Richard Nielsen; her sister Pat Hildebrandt (Gary); her children, Lynnette Sukut (Keith) and Richard Petty (Gina); her granddaughters, Danica Comita (Dom), Chayla Ryan and Kendra Ryan (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Isabella Comita, Rosalia Comita, Giuseppe Comita and Lorenzo Comita.
