It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Lynn Schmalz (Kamloops, British Columbia), who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Hughes and Betty Hughes; her grandparents, Cleophas and Catharine Bessette; her brother John Hughes of Kamloops, BC; her children, Melanie Schmalz of Ottawa, ON and Ryan Schmalz (Jill) of Sun Peaks, BC.; and her grandchildren, Jocelyne, Emma Lalonde of Ottawa, Gus and Elouise Schmalz of Sun Peaks.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kamloops Hospice Society Trinity palliative care wing at Overlander Residential Care facility in Judy's memory would be appreciated.
