He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Staples (Kerry) and Sandra Bertrand; his grandchildren, Renee Petersen (Erik), Darcy Staples (Victoria), Jamie Hemmelgarn (Devin) and Tayln Bertrand; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Jesse, Aliyah Staples and Ava Petersen; his siblings, Denis Bertrand and Suzanne Neighbour; and his nieces and nephews, Pat Pope and Wally Weist.
