He was predeceased by: his former wife Audrey; his parents, Henry and Katherina; his siblings, Herman and Susan (Mierau); and also, Susie and Anna.

He is survived by: his wife Evie; his son Rod (Sandra); his stepchildren, Vicki (Ed), Dan and Laura; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, Andrea, Shae, Cora (Jason), Erin, Terry (Monica), Amanda (Bryson) and Brandon (Desirae); and his siblings, Elvera (Larry), Harry, Ray (Lavina) and Leona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice home or the Alzheimer Society.
