It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Dash of Kamloops, British Columbia, who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph George, Ferdinand, John Leopold, Frank Mathias, George Nicholas, Martin Joseph and Leopold Frank; his parents, Frank Tasch and Anna Frank; his son Ferdinand; his brother Glen Bain; his uncle Frank; his many Siller; his siblings-in-law, Normand, Irene Heggestad and Donna Heggestad; and his nieces and nephews, Leonard, Helen, Jackie, Larry and Darlene.

He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Joseph, Anna Dash, George and Katharina Dash; his children, Greg (Gloria), Terry (Karen) and Sheila (Brian); his grandchildren, Kenton, Jarrett (Crystal), Courtney (Riley), Eamonn, Jorel (Nancy), Elyse (Dustin), Hillary (Fraser) and Tanner (Bridgitte); his siblings-in-law, Omar Heggestad, Jerome and Lynn Heggestad; and his nieces and nephews, Josie, Alice, Gary, Wilma, Ron, Judy, Gloria, Marleen, Lorne, Shirley, Carole, Valen, Tanis, Sharlene, Darwin, Darcey, Troy, Brent, Brad and Doug. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Agnes died in April 2007 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Dad was there for her and looked after her for all but the last couple years of her life.
