She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Fiesel and Hilda Fiesel (Wolfe); her stepmother Theresa Fiesel; and her sister Shirley Marquardt. She is survived by: her husband Miles; her daughter Dennet; her grandchildren, Daniel and Teresa; her siblings, Clifford (Marjorie), Doreen, Barbara, Diane (Ron), Murray (Karen) and Annette (Dale); and her friends, Marlene Anderson and Muriel Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Marlene passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018, just after her 79th birthday, with her husband Miles, daughter Dennet and grandchildren Daniel and Teresa by her side as she crossed the finish line of her journey with Alzheimer's.
