Nettie Duerksen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nettie Duerksen (Kamloops, British Columbia), born in Altona, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband George Duerksen; her daughters, Chris Redekop (Dean) and Karren Chupa (Rocky); her grandchildren, Josh Redekop (Christa), Chelsey Raine (Jesse), Alex Blais (Alan), Arryn Nuila (Hector), Marshal Chupa and Hope Brown; and her great grandchildren, Zeke, Zoey, Zaya Redekop, Summer Raine, Owen, Aria Blais, David, Jonathan, Benjamin, Levi Nuila, Judah and Avani Brown.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kamloops Alliance Church (200 Leigh Rd, Kamloops, BC V2B2L6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kamloops Hospice Association (Marjorie Willoughby Hospice) in Nettie's name.
