Rafal will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Rafal by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Rafal is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Rafal’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Patricia; parents: Walter and Leona Kopec; brothers: Joseph (Fran) and Norman (Diane); sister: Mary (Frank); daughter: Jacqueline (Scott); grandchildren: Cache (Tara), Kaylei (Richard), and Columbia (Dallas); nieces and nephews: Liz, Jeannie, Susan, Kathy, Karen, Kelly, and Michael; great-nephew and great-nieces: Jessica, Joseph and Abby; caregivers/support: Jon and Shannon Fox, and Mark Billington; and many dear friends in Canada, Mexico, and beyond.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (2826 Bank Rd, Kamloops, BC V2B6Y5).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the cardiac unit of royal inland hospital would be gratefully appreciated.
