She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Simpson and Margaret Simpson; her son Bruce; and her sister Joan. She is survived by: her children, Lyn Gannon (Kevin) and Donna Thibault Lorne Cumming (Kelly); and her sisters, Jocelyn Cahill, Pat McAbee and Judy Karr. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and their spouses and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ICU unit of the Royal Inland Hospital.
