He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Elwood Finigan and Ethel Blanche (Allen); his wife Helen (Irwin); his stepchildren, Kelly Ronald, Kimball Anthony and Kathleen Alexis; his pets, Man and Ron; his siblings, Eleanor Madge and Allan Finigan; and his pets, Lady and Kip.

In lieu of flowers the family would accept donations for the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation in Ron's name.
