He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Donna, Catherine (Christiane), Wendy (Barry), Cheryl (Rory) and Melanie (Lyle); his siblings, Diane (Gerry), Mary Ann (Dean), Wayne (Barbara) and Robert (Susan); his siblings-in-law, Robert (Louise), June (Ted), Patricia and Anita; and also, Joshua, Devon, Tyson, Nolan, Aidyn, Hazel, Dawson, Tayben, Jack, Rylan and Abel.

“I am truly sorry for your loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. I met Stan in 74 and crossed paths during the 80's ,90's and up to his retirement. Shared many days and nights in Fire Aviation together as BDO's and Air Co's. , I know he loved his family , his bikes and old truck. I'll miss him, Don Courson.”
