He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Kachaluba and Domina Kachaluba (Popowych); and his siblings, Bill (Ella), Pete, Raymond, Eddie, Pauline Bullock (George), Jenny Wasylenka (Andrew), Stella Bilinksi (Raymond), Annie Ing (Walter), Marie Clarke (Bob), Josephine Straker (Harold), Helen Malinowski (Leo) and Alice Pidkowich (Joe).
He is survived by: his brother Carl; his sisters-in-law, Sonia Kashluba and Helen Pelton; his stepdaughter Carolyn Ciprick (Mike); and his stepgrandchildren, David and Ashley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
