Teruo Sakaki Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2025, at the age of 94, Teruo Sakaki (Kamloops, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Teruo departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Teruo. Though Teruo may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tetsuo and Sakae; and his siblings, Frank, Seiko, Hayako Tasaka, Leiko Koide and Hiroko Hughes.
He is survived by: his brothers, Norio (Marie), Ed and Roy Sakaki; his wife Setsuko Aura; and also Sakae Hirano of Kumamoto Japan. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and many nephews and nieces.
