It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Peltier (Kamloops, British Columbia), who passed away on March 4, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Swagar. She is survived by: her husband Dick; her children, Dale Peltier (Heather) and Sherry Jaffray (Keith) of Kamloops; her grandchildren, Tyson and Marlee; her mother Lucile Otterstatter of Calgary; her siblings, Bill Swagar (Penny) of Calgary and Lisa Wilson (Jack) of Courtenay; and her nieces, Colleen (Saun), Ina (Dave), Kaitlyn (Brenton) and Danielle (Rollie).

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Wilma's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 214 – 141 Victoria Street,, Kamloops, BC V2C 1Z5.

It was a terrible shock to see Wilma's obituary in tonight's paper. She was an incredible person, Nurse, and Union Representative. I learned so much from her in all those capacities! I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't express how sad I feel.”
