She is survived by: her siblings, Kit, Tony, Frank, Bob and Reg; her daughters, Gloria Wittich (Garry) and Colleen Carlson; her grandchildren, Shauna Bottolfs (Greg), Connie Ferris (Chris), Aaron Wittich (Shalea), Tracy Andrusiak (Vince) and Kim Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Leshia Andrusiak, Zack Andrusiak, Kayla Carlson, Amy Bottolfs, Corey Bottolfs, Ashton Ferris, Rianna Wittich and Hayden Wittich.
In leu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Alvena.
