Alexander Albert Recsky Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Albert Recsky (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stefan Recsky and Rosalia Recsky; and his siblings, Steven Recsky, Rose Turban and Helen Hutton.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Keith (Deb); his grandsons, Kyle (Magda) and Bryce (Chantelle); his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Andrew and Edwin; and his siblings, Betty Dufour, Irene Recsky and Bob Recsky (Rose).
While those who wish to honour Alex are encouraged to donate to a charity that best celebrates their relationship with Alex, a memorial award has been created for UBCO students that exemplifies Alex's outlook on life.
