He is survived by: his wife Zora Derk; his children, John Derk of Peachland, BC and Lili Derk (Greg Wold) of Vancouver, BC.; and his siblings, Anne Derk, Pavel Derk, Ana Jankovic, Marija Antunovic and Jelena Vranovic.
