She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Handlen and Margaret Handlen; and her brother Russell. She is survived by: her wife Barbara May Fennig; her son Kevin (Bonnie) of Red Deer; her granddaughters, Kristine (Josh) of Red Deer and Tamara (Derek) of Edmonton; her daughter Wendy (Dan); and her grandson Brad.
