Though Bert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his wife Florence; and his daughters, Patricia (Derrick) and Lorraine (Greig). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
