She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marr and Theresa Marr; and her brother Bill Marr. She is survived by: her husband Bob Hillis; her children, Flora Henderson (Peter), Kathleen Hillis, Eileen Sudul (Evan), Rob Hillis (Tracey), Mary Hillis and John Hillis; her grandchildren, Duncan, Robbie Henderson, Ethan, William, Lauren Sudul, Maralyn and Charlie Hillis; her pet Poody; her sister Joyce Barry (Leo); and her sister-in-law Edna Marr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
