He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilse and Werner; and his brothers, Volker and Berndt. He is survived by: his children, Chris Jr., Jeannie (Michael) and Farah (Tim); his grandchildren, Courtney (Eric), Matthew (Nicole), Richard (Joyce), Keaton (Ian) and McKenna (Kaden); his great grandchildren, Bennett and Nora; his sister Beata (Glenn); his nieces, Melanie (Shane) and Alyssa; his great-nephew Josh; and his great-niece Sofie.
