He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Lydia; and his sisters, Rose, Helen, Meleada, Clara, Linda, Maggie and Ida.

He is survived by: his wife Helena; his daughter Sharolyn; his stepchildren, Troy (Natalie), Tracy (John) and Kim; his stepgrandson Joel; his sister Joan; and his pet Alpine.
