He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Grieve and May Grieve; and his siblings, Elliot, Gordon "Fuzzy", Jean and Beth.

He is survived by: his wife Pearl; his children, Pat (Norm) and Ron (Karen); his grandchildren, Brett (Kate), Craig (Kenzie), Shalene Manickum (Mahen) and Nicole Habib (Chris); his great grandchildren, Austin, Anna, Nathan, Eric, Jasmin, Kenden, Evan, Ravi and Brynlee; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce and Thelma. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
