He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cochrane and Madeline Cochrane. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Radke; his daughter Dawn (Jamie); his grandsons, Max and Ben; his daughter Katherine (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Sophia and Gabe; his sister Dianne Woodward (Bob); and his mother-in-law Myrtle Radke. He is also survived by his extended family, many friends.

Post-retirement, Doug turned his mind and considerable energy to BC Interior Health, particularly during the evolving needs of the COVID 19 pandemic.
